South Carolina is a pretty average state. It's pretty much how you would expect it. The funniest thing I found was pure evidence of its location in the Bible Belt. On the roads, they have the bright yellow diamond road signs that say "CHURCH" about 100 feet before a church. I have no idea the purpose of these, but I think they're hilarious nonetheless. I wish I had a camera solely so I could take a picture and post it here. But alas, I do not.

Maybe it's because "SLOW, SENIOR CITIZENS IN AREA" wouldn't fit on a sign?    

If it were due to slow senior citizens, there should be signs EVERYWHERE.    

It's so you know to slow down for the people going to and leaving church on Sundays. Kind of like those "school zone" signs or those "dangerous intersection" signs. They are quite normal actually.    

Still, you'd think even people going to church would know how to drive. I mean, we all know children are stupid. That's why they're going to school. Adults should know better to jet to and from church. I still think that if the church signs are necessary, then so are signs for every building ever.
